This 2 bedroom 1.5 bath in San Francisco was dark and dreary. We changed the look and feel of the entire house by knocking down walls and combining rooms to create a steady flow. The kitchen was very boxy; we took out the wall that was adjacent to the living room and constructed one large room. Then we installed limestone countertops and white, shaker cabinet doors with glass inserts, giving this room an open, airy atmosphere. We combined the hallway closet with the main bathroom making it much more spacious. We completed the remodel by complimenting the residence with refinished dark oak hardwood, Victorian styled crown molding, and low voltage lighting throughout this 1800 sq ft. home.
