Located in San Francisco, this project for Lyft is what they call their “Driver’s Hub”. The buildings date back to the 1920s as a manufacturing facility. During the late 1970s, Bell Plumbing took over the space with the floating Bell Plumbing van off of Highway 101. That van is now painted pink for Lyft. This project entailed structural retrofit upgrades for both buildings. We created an industrial open floor plan with “hangout rooms”. The second building to the right now has a kitchen and office area on the bottom floor and a lounge area on the second floor. This was a 20,000 sf project.
